First thematic platform for the renewal of strategic documents for wolf in Slovenia

On March 12, 2021, Slovenia Forest Service and Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning organised an online event for stakeholders. The presentations at the beginning outlined the focus of the discussion in the second part of the event. Three thematic groups offered an opportunity for the participants to present their views: management of wolves, wolf and agriculture, information and inclusion of stakeholders.

The challenges in these three areas are many, but the participants also identified some of the possible solutions. The report of the workshop will help the group of nominated representatives to identify the priorities of the renewed strategic documents for wolf in Slovenia.
