Following the tracks of the OFB Wolf Prevention Intervention Unit

One of the key initiatives of the LWA EU project is the creation of Wolf Prevention Intervention Units (WPIU). Their aim? To visit the mountain pastures and observe the behaviour of the herds, the livestock guarding dogs and their interactions with the wolf, and thus to provide recommendations and advice on how to improve the effectiveness of the protection measures in place.

This video takes us to the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors Nature Reserve to explore the work of the OFB’s two WPIU technicians, their collaboration with a farmer and the reserve’s warden.
